Candle Project

This project is easy and fun to do with a 4+ child.

First you need some Mason Jars or Candle Jar.
Tissue Paper, I used Red, Green and White for Christmas!
Mod Podge, I used the glitter kind to give it a different effect.
Here is 3 different kinds they have you can also use.

Cut up the tissue paper in different shapes. It help the kids learn their shapes as you cut them out.

Next get a paint brush and the Jar you've picked to decorate the outside of.
Take the paint brush and start putting the mod podge on the jar in small areas put the paper on the jar then repeat over the paper so it stays on the jar.
Let it dry for 4-5 hours.
repeat another coat to make sure it stays on.
If you decorated a Mason Jar. With Red, Green and White it should look like this...

You will want to wash ur paintbrush right away or they will be stick as brick.
I hope you enjoy this.
